KAGOSHIMA!!
Written by Cat on Oct 5th, 2008 and posted in 2008After a delicious brunch provided by the Fukuda winery, we rode 130 kilometers through the rain today. That`s our longest day yet! (except for Colin Hood, who rode in circles one day until he had ridden a century)
A group of friendly local JETs welcomed us and watched as we rather deliriously celebrated our arrival. We filled our hungry tummies with Japatalian pasta and pizza and are now snuggling into cozy beds at the Little Asia guesthouse.
Tomorrow morning we`ll ride out to Cape Sata, the southernmost point of Japan (apart from Okinawa), and then we`ll have finished our journey that began at Cape Soya, the northernmost point in the country, just over two months ago.
I`m falling asleep, so that`s all for now. More detailed accounts to come later.

Wow!!

Cheers and daffodils…
Kudos to all for an adventure well done! (and thanks for sharing, it has been a fun ride to follow) Glad to read of your success and completion of what I imagine has been an incredible journey. Congrats to you all and safe travels to wherever the winds will take you next! In the case of Miss Mahsoob, I believe that will be my guest bedroom!
cheers!
