Day off today

All ferries to/from Ojika have been cancelled for the 3rd day in a row. The wind and waves are just too intense. Tomorrow looks no better. The weather is very strange this week. Possible snow and hail is not the norm for a sub-tropical island in March!
As I was just biking home from my friend Koji’s food shop, I got hailed on. Yep… seems like a good day to take off.
Although, I must admit… I was cackling with joy as I wove through the empty rice paddies that line my way home, the hail stinging my face. I love this stuff
