BEE Japan

Bicycle for Everyone’s Earth

Winston

Currently a college student at Temple University Japan Campus in Tokyo, I came to Japan with the interest in studying the culture and language of this fascinating country. I am from Seattle Washington in the United States, and have worked with the environmental NPO The Washington Wilderness Coalition in efforts to raise awareness for and protection of Washington State's little remaining old-growth forests. I first heard about BEE Japan through my cousin Salem around two years ago while I was still living in the States, and I knew it would be something I would be interested in doing once I came to Japan myself. Bicycling for me has always been more for recreation than anything else, so I am looking forward to broadening its meaning both for myself and others.
